I am a fairly new mobile Nail Tech. Do any of you take a desk light with you, just in case the lighting in the clients house is poor?

Most definatly, I still even use it even if the lighting is ok in their house, with exception to concervatories which normally have suffcient lighting.

I have a portable daylight lamp which is invaluable to me!

where is the best place to get a daylight lamp from ?

I would thnk it was essential to take a good light in your kit as a mobile.

hi i always use my lamp i didnt pay much i have a desk lamp that moves and tilts i got it from argos its cool and seethrough hth xxx

If doing nails had one by one steps (instructions)...

The most important step is being able to "see", then the second would be to have a "vision" (very closely connected).

Being able to see well, discounts a very basic excuse for doing poor nails.

The amount of times I have heard the excuse "but my light was bad, I couldn't see properly".

Get a good lamp and a good bulb (always have a spare bulb on hand).

I wouldn't be without a lamp it's a vital peice of your kit.

I always carry my daylight lamp with me, especially as most of my work is evening based its become an essential part of my mobile kit.

I have a daylight lamp from Hobbycraft which is perfect.
