Hi all, I have a client who is a base 4 and wants balayage. She was a subtle look like the pic attached but also has a few greys she would like covered. How would you go about doing this? My thoughts are, full head balayaged highlights then wash rough dry and apply permanent root tint fragged down and then after 10 mins apply semi toner on ends for 20 mins. Or would you use a permanent all over as it shouldn’t touch the dark ends anyway? Thanks x

Sounds like a good plan! Although the balayage is quite low in the photo so you could probably apply the root tint at the same time?

Yes that would save on a bit time wouldn’t it. What would you say the colour is on the ends? I’m thinking. 7 something, .3 maybe x
