Balayage question?

Hey what's everyone using for the balayage lift? I've done it in foils and I've noticed a lot of people doing it free hand without foils. Is everyone just using general bleach powders or anything different? Thanks 😊

I use Schwartzkopf vario bleach I mix it up quite thick and do it free hand or I do foils. If your worried about bleeding pop cotton wool underneath xx

The most important thing is to make sure the bleach doesn't bleed or swell, I use minimal product and wella blondor

Yeah I've been worried about bleeding that's why I've used foil before but I've noticed everyone seems to just be painting onto the hair free hand. thanks

I just used Wella Blondor mixed fairly thick and used clingfilm in between each section to keep heat in.
