banners related to threads

I only noticed this afternoon than some of the banners on some of the threads are related to the thread poster or the title of the thread - some of them are quite amusing -
Sassy Hassy's thread has "Where's Wally" banners!
Joanne's thread on foundation has acne banner lol!
Uniform thread has chinese clothing & evening wear
Geeg's has Costa Blanca banners
Clever or what lol!!

im guessing i cant see them as ive got ads blocked in my options

Have you used the option to switch them off? Think it's under edit options and is only available to Premmies.

ahhh ok, think i've got it now....
where the banner advertising is at the top of the page, sometimes they're Google sponsored adverts... this thread has... wait for it... Crazy Frog videos and Funny Money information pmsl

yep the ads - sorry if I was a bit vague!! I didn't know you could block them, but I like them gives me something else to look at so i won't block them.
