Beauty salon with the same name

Hi geeks! Have a slight issue that I hope you can help with. I have always known the name that I will be calling my beauty business however I have just moved to Leeds and there is a salon open with a very similar name to mine. Does anyone know if this will be a problem! The names are not exactly the same and as I said I've had my heart set on it for a long time! Any opinions will be greatly appreciated x

As long as it isn't copyrighted then no there is no 'legal' issues. However, I would recommend not being similar. I know you have your heart set on it but you can put a lot of people off straight off the bat if they think you are trying to pretend to be like them. Also it can cause confusion for clients.
