A new client has had copper lowlights with a 9 blonde base. Overall her hair is too dark for her liking and the copper is starting to look wishy washy. She wants the copper removed and an all over lighter finish. I am just after se fellow geeks options on the best way you go about this; should I- bleach bath with equal parts bleach peroxide water, or tone out the copper with ash then re-hi light. My lady has little money left so wants the cheapest option. Many thanks in advance for opinions.

Depending on the condition it sounds ok maybe after h/l use a toner, something like wella 10/8 as it's cool it looks lighter and any warmth left over should be tonen down

Might take 2 lots of h/l for her to be happy but make use you retail some products and book her in again 4/6 wk

Would a bleach bath not remove this copper? I know copper can be stubborn. Just trying to go cheapest root.

Bleach bath then tone with affinage 10/2 or 9/2. If you like wella 10/1 is amazing in the illumina range, but personally I would use affinage 9/2 on a bleach bath xoxo

Oh, and you could always try the tone remover of shampoo bleach and water all equal parts. Won't lift it but will strip tone like a escort strips their clothes xoxo

Ha That's a good way of putting it, thanks tomme
