All you Bio Sculpture Techs - where did you train?

I am doing it with BioSculpture London.

I have never done nails before - So I am going on a 1 day manicure training day then 1 day bio sculpture gel course.

Will I learn all I need to know?

How long did it take everyone else?

Thanks

Hi

I trained in Pembrokeshire, SW Wales.

The Gel training day is great - informative, professional yet fun. I learn all I needed to know and it was very thorough.

You will need to go and practice many times on many people, buit even this was a joy - eventually I got it right and started on paying clients - eeek. This was scary at first, but now I'm really busy. Best move I ever made...

I wouldn't worry about the manicure side of things, but you will need to get up to speed on nail conditions/diseases and the hand and nail anatomy after the course so that you have a clearer understanding of it all....

Enjoy the day - Bio Sculpture is a fab brand to work with and you won't go wrong....hth:)

I am a Bio Sculpture tech and did my gel training with Bio Sculpture South...based in Fleet, although the fleet course was fully booked when I wanted to do my trainnig and therefore I travelled to Maidstone, for my initial course with them, but went a did my assessment at Fleet.

I initally trained Manicure / Pedicure at college and then went on to complete my enhancement training home learn, before adding Bio to my portfoio...and finding out just how much home learn hadn't taught me!

You will enjoy your Bio training I'm sure...its a fab product and you'll find it a great intro to the world of nails, but no, you won't learn all you need to know in 2 days....and you won't learn al you need to know in 2 years! Like many others I'm now years into this industry and still learning!

But you will learn enough to be able to go away and start offering nail enhancements at trainee prices for a while....then when you've done your assessment you can start to raise your prices a bit. Don't rush into your assessment....its worth taking your time and making sure you practise lots. I now know my Bio educator quite well and believe me, she knows who has practised and who hasn't, when it comes to assessment time!

Enjoy, and remember we're here for anything we can do to help you on your way!

Utopia in Hornchurch (or Nails Inc) offer BioSculpture as an everlasting polish. Perhaps go and have a set done and watch the experts.

Good luck and enjoy the course x
