blue and blonde ???

k i doing my friends hair and he has got vry dark 4/0 base hair he already has a flash of vry light cool blonde thrgh it which lifts easily. now he wants to split the blonde flash and it stayin blonde underneath and a bright blue on top if that makes sense to you. but if i use a crazy colour for the blue on top is going to run as he washs it into the blonde underneath. does any1 has a solution which wil stop the colour runing into the blonde???

every time ive used blue it starts to go icky and grey and thats without it running

coat the blond with heavy conditioner before wetting, this won't stop it but it helps. Only way to really stop it is have the blue on the bottom.
