I love to go to the Trafford Centre at night and have a meal/go to the bars and have a wander round. The cinema there is massive too.

me and mark went through this stage too, at first it was cos we couldnt really afford to go anywhere and then you get stuck in the routine of staying in all the time. Now we are staying with my parents till our house is ready and its even more "cabin-fever" cos our space is limited to our room only and its not the same as having your own place. But Im nearer my friends now so I can pop out and visit them, and then mark doesnt feel so guilty for visiting his, as when we lived in his hometown he always felt guiltl leaving me on my own when my mates were miles away. Bless, he only confessed this recently when we moved. I decided 2006 is gonna be the year I try new things and become exciting again!

I go to a street dancing class on Thurday nights, its soooo much fun! We usually fall about laughing cos one of us has gone the wrong way or done the wrong thing.
There are all sorts of ages and shapes and sizes there too, I should know... I'm a size 22.
Theres a fab 'older lady' there too and you should see her shakin her booty!!
Just get out there and enjoy life, cos you only get one shot at it!!

Salsa!!!! Or some other kind of dance class, you get to keep fit and socialise at the same time!
Sean's going to kill me for this, but I've managed to persuade him to come to Beginner's Ballroom Dance classes with me - we start on the 26th Jan and I'm really looking forward to it, and despite all his public protests, I know Sean is too.
You don't need to go with a partner for dance classes, and I think most women do end up going alone. BUT, for the men who are reading this, I've been told by lots of girls/women that they find it VERY attractive to see a man who can actually 'social dance' (the 'pogo' does not constitute social dancing!!! :lick: ), my friend fell in lust with her hubby's friend at a wedding reception because he was such a good dancer he was actually able to make her (and other women - they were queueing in their dozens to dance with him!) look like a good dancer too........ she did nothing but talk about it/him for months, and now her hubby is going to dance classes with her!

It's true. Dancing is an excellent way of socialising and getting fit. I started going to ceroc (modern-jive) last October after spending too many months at home every night, and haven't looked back since. Everyone that goes is really friendly and nobody is allowed to refuse an offer to dance (unless they've just collapsed from exhaustion).
And yes, I've heard it said that women find it very attractive to see a man who can "social dance", but I reckon they'd prefer an attractive man that can "social dance"
Just because I can dance(ish) doesn't make me an instant (insert your current chosen hunk here) Still, it's the first time in ages that I've actually been in demand!! :o Ballroom eh? Poor Sean!! Though he probably will like it once he gets past those first stuttering steps.

I do aikido twice a week, STRINGFELLOWS parties a couple of times a week, nails some nights... and a night to organise stuff so I keep on top of all the other stuff lol
Oh and a night to FLOB...
mind you, theres belly dancing classes nearby.. If god gave me this belly, he must want me to use it...

Things don't add up so well on a hangover!
I'd love to do yoga again but had a terrible experience with it a few years ago...
We were bending around having to touch your toes and stuff doing all the hippy dippy breathing..... all quiet and i must have been a bit too relaxed....
