Hi Ladies

When charging for makeup trials on bridesmaids do you see them at the same time and charge them seperately?

If there are 3 bridesmaids for instance and you charge £35 per person for trial do you see them seperately or combine the time and see them all together? It sounds confusing I know but i'm trying to work out the best way of doing it.

: )

i generally see the bridal party all together, however as the trials can take several hours - they usually turn up for their "slot" at the bride 2 be's house at different times (pre arranged) and i charge them seperately
a good idea is to encourage the bride and her bridesmaids to have their trials the day of the hen night - once they are happy with their look, you can easily glam it up for girls night out

But how do you go about pricing do you still charge them per person even if they are all together?

I would still charge them per person - then they all know what it's costing and they can sort out how they're paying. Or maybe the bride is covering the cost.

Also, unless you charge extra for travel, seeing them all in one job lot will be much more convenient for you. And the bridal party can be sure all their looks complement each other.

yes,i most deffinately charge per person .. and i now charge the same amt for the trial as the wedding day - after all, im using more products, taking more time creating different looks etc .. i was a bit nervous about doing this at first, but my bookings are up from last year so it obviously hasnt put anyone off!
the brides mum and bridesmaids can opt out of a trial but i then add £20 to the wedding day makeup - so far they've all had trials
i insist the bride has a trial, i wouldnt accept the booking otherwise
HTH
