Has anyone ever purchased any Brisa Gel form a company called Tailor made nails, i noticed this on in the web the other day?

Hiya!

Yes, I buy from them a lot (although I've not actually purchased Brisa gels as I've not done the Brisa course yet!). I think that they are a fantastic company to buy things from when the OSNS is out of things. They're a very friendly bunch of peeps to buy from too. :green:

I bought my Brisa prof kit from them and it's been just fine!

I'm afraid that whilst they may offer a great service, they supply to ANYONE! Even if you are not trained at all. This in my opinion denegrates the brand as Creative have always maintained they will not sell to the untrained in the UK and do their upmost to uphold this. Then someone undoes this for all of us ... and even some of the geeks clients have bought from them! Whilst I'm all for a fair market economy, I do find this rather irksome, although under the current climate I can understand the temptation.

Where possible stick with the official suppliers of ANY brand - those that offer the FULL deal, including training and professional support. After all, as we are finding out at the moment, if the official suppliers disappear where the heck do we buy our stock with confidence that we know it is 100% the real deal, where do we get our advice that we know is spot on and, more importantly, where do we get our first rate training by those who know the brand inside out and backwards?
Just my two penneth worth!

I agree...i can see that with the present stock problems people need to get hold off what they need but there are more and more threads popping up from people who have got the products from sites as the one you mention and ebay but with no training in how to use it...then asking...."what am i doing wrong"...or "having problems with Brisa"...when in-fact its nothing to do with the gel...its there lack of training!

OHHH AND BTW.....SASSY YOU LOOK AMAZING IN YOUR NEW PIC....WOOHOOOOO !!!

Blimey we should change this thread to the sassy appreciation society thread ... all donations gratefully received! Anyway you have all made my day, I knew I was feeling good on the inside and looks like it's radiating through to the outside.

I also agree with what has been said before that only trained professionals should be able to by professional products - however in the current situation with hyperion I don't see a problem for those who know they are correctly trained to buy from other sources.

Besides lets not forget that just anyone can walk into sallys and buy professional stuff. Untill these places only serve trained professionals I really feel we are not adding to the probelm by buying from place like Taylormade nails!

Yes but these are brands that choose to work that way, they don't care who uses it - Creative in the UK does so I feel the comparison doesn't stack up. They value the reputation of the product by supporting it with proper training and that is the difference with buying a top end professional product - not only Creative but many others - that supports its own techs by upholding all our reputations. Like I said I can understand in the current climate people sourcing stuff from non official sources, but it isn't one that I would openly support when normal servie is resumed.

Heck if i all I wanted was to get it at its cheapest I'd go direct to a tech in the States and get them to send it to me - cutting out the likes of these suppliers altogether. But personally I need more than that from my supplier, I need professional support.

I also feel it a little cheeky to go to these places for products and then come on the site and ask for support from those that support the official sources and pay the premium for it ... but heck that's just my opinion which I know many do share ... and many who don't! It's a funny old world!

I have to say that the Sally's that I use you need to be qualified you must have proof before you can apply for a card.

I am struggling to get products and feel so unloyal even looking anywhere else but needs must and I would consider buying from somewhere else soon.
I can go for a nother few weeks without needing products so I have my fingers crossed we know what is happening by then:cry:
