Brisa Lite sculpting breakage

Please help. I did my first full set on my mum this morning and she's just broken one. She did it cleaning the floor by hand because she hit it on the bottom of the sofa.

I know that it's partly her fault for doing that but should it be strong enough to withstand that? If so, what do you think I did wrong?

If you whack your hand off a piece of furniture, you can break a nail whether is a gel nail or a natural one.
You did nothing wrong, she needs to be more careful.
