I thought it might be a good idea for all of us who use Eve Taylor to get together and share ideas with each other because if you haven't attended their training then there is little direction or help with either usagbe or marketing. Don't get me wrong I'm not slating the company but I do think we can help each other and hopefully increase our uptake of service and also to get maimum benefit from the products!:green:

For me I seem to have a real problem in selling the facials to clients and getting them to book in the first place.

Also, had anyone tried out their newer products yet, likke the Ultra Calming range, the new serums and the Enzyme Peel? If so what are your thoughts?

I dont use Eve Taylor I use Monu & Renu skincare range, but I thought I would add a comment. I think its all about how you market your facials and cost of the facial, of course depending on your area and competition and what they charge. I have a lot of regular clients who come in for facials. They like to have a pamper and look after their skin. May be you could offer a free scalp massage and hand and arm massage in your facials. Or even a loyalty system, so when they have so many facials they get a voucher towards another facial or treatment. Its just getting them to have just one facial and then they are hooked. X

What a great idea!
I don't have their full range yet, but I'm going too. It would be great to create a group or something like it, to hare ideas with each other. I have been using only a few products from Eve Taylor and have to say I like them a lot. The bio peel is great, very gentle but quite effective. The peel off masks are great too, i would prefer to use them instead of using the cream or gel ones, i think peel of masks give much better results and it looks more professional.

I do a lot of facials. I use Eve Taylor and Monu by susan molyneux. I found one of the best ways to get facials is to do a monthly poster in the salon. I have an offer of the month, (not always facials) and am always amazed by the amount of people that book the treatment on offer, thinking its something new, when it has actualy been on my menu for ever, lol. The current poster Iv got is promoting the Eve Taylor brightening facial, and the poster title is "has your skin had its vitamins?......." I can say a little about the vitamin c in the mask etc. Im offering the facial with a 10% discount for Jan, selling it along the lines of skin needing a boost after the part season etc. Iv had 7 book so far! I find clients now look for the offer of month poster. hope that helps a bit!

Do you use this as a gentle exfoliant or do you use it as a mask? I've never used it as a mask and am not sure what the results are like tbh.

What a fab idea!! Thats a promotion I may just pinch.

I use it as an exfoliant,it has a mild dose of AHAs. If the skin is very sensitive I wouldn't use it but for any other skin type I would. I leave it from 5(normal) to 15 mins (for very dry, problem and thick skins). I think you can use it with a steamer too. I used it on my self,I used their scrub first then left bio exfoliant for 15 mins, loved the results. But my skin is not sensitive at all and I had as strong peels as 50% glycolic, so it well got used to it.

o has anyone had any good results with either the Bio Cream or the Enzyme Peel with for example post acne scarring or lines and wrinkles? If so, how good is good? Is it something you could confidently recommend to someone with these conditions?

I think it is a bit too mild to fix something like post acne scars or wrinkles. It will improve the skin texture but it won't get rid of the problem. Maybe a course of treatments can help, but I can't say because didn't have anyone so far for course of Eve Taylor facials.

Ooh, I've just taken on Eve Taylor, so I'll be watching this with interest.

We have a couple of REALLY successful product groups going in the Social Groups section...so the threads don't disappear and every member can post q's and answers for others to see....why not start an Eve Taylor group there...I'll join!

My mum swears by the angi ageing facial that i do which includes the bio cream exfoliant. The day after her skin is that nice she doesnt like or need to wear any make-up.

I am going to look for the group now and add myself.

So how long do you apply the Bio Cream for? And which other products do you use in that facial? Also, sorry for all the questions(!), but has it had any impact on lines and wrinkles?

This is a great idea - just joined the group myself! I use Eve Taylor in my salon and love the stuff. However as Peterborough is so hard to get to from Belfast, I haven't done the training, so this group wil be great.
Hope it gets lots of posts and members.

Looking forward to it!

Hi there, for my anti-ageing facial i do the following.

1st cleanse with the purifying gel wash and then do a skin analysis to determine which cleanser to use. Usally the soothing if i am doing an anti-ageing facial. Then tone with soothing toner. Apply the bio cream for 10 - 15 mins (first time using it on someone, i do it for 5 and check that it is not tingling etc and then build up the time for each client). Then remove the product and tone again. Carryout a face, neck and shoulder massage for 20 mins with the pre-blended face oils. Then remove the product and tone again. I then apply the Q10 serum to the face and then mix the cryogenic face masque, when the masque is on carryout a hand massage. Remove the masque (which takes some mastering so it comes off in one go) and tone again. Apply face oil no 5 and then finish off with the age resist moisturiser. This all takes me 90 mins and i charge £38.00.

I dont think any products really can remove wrinkles, but it helps even them out and make your skin looking more youthful and toned. As i mentioned before she never wears make-up the next day as her skin feels so toned and refreshed, she says its a waste :)

Maybe we should all post the "Menu" for each of our facials that we carry out on the group pages to help each other out.
