I am just starting to work with embedded charms with colored acrylic. If anyone has experience/tips please pass them on!!! My main question is.... Can the acrylic nails with crushed shells, or plastic-like charms embedded be filed? Please respond...i need your help!!!

Of course, but you need to cap them in clear and then you can file them. ;) hth

Filed in which way?? to take the length down, while finishing the nail off or for a rebalance...?

If you take the length down or rebalance it you can file them off without a problem. i just found crushed shells to smell really bad when i needed to remove them for a rebalance

When you finish of your nail make sure that you applied a clear layer of acrylic on top so you don,t file in the embeded decoration...this really sucks when you have gold charms or so in it since those turn silver if you file too much

yes you can i use all kind of thing for my nail art
i love my nail art & glitter & color acrylics
