Can anyone recommend a good soak off gel? I am a training nail tech and have wasted lots of money trying different products, only wish I had found this site sooner. I'm not confident enough to use a non soak of gel yet as it involves filing them off if someone wants them removed. I purchased the Star Nails soak off introductory kit today but wondered if it was any good? Guess I should have asked before getting it but could still take it back if anyone has found it to be inadequate. I would really appreciate any advice

hi matey

I use Bio sculpture gel - which is lovely - comes in over 60 colours and soaks off nicely - BUT its not too clever over tips (without help from silk/fiberglass) strength wise. I think it may be better when sculpting (but i am not great at that!!)

Other than that soak off gels....hmm can only think of calgel...pretty much the same as bio.

Dont discount the 'file' off gels - filing off is not that scary just slowly slowly does it.

I also use BRISA which is fabulous - nice and strong.

Im also trying different products at the mo wanting to find a good soak off gel. I assume you mean you brought star nails GF21 gel? I also brought this product last week and have since done 3 sets which went very well. I will be doing infills next week so ill keep you posted on how it lasts.

Many thanks for your advice. Yes it's GF21, maybe I should give it a go then. Would really appriciate your feedback of how it wears xx
