I've just qualified as a Beauty Specialist, and struggled with painting nails. It really took me a long time to get the hang of a good technique (tutorials on here helped). I finally got to a point where i was happy with my results.
But i still find that unless the enamel/brush is to my liking - i still can't do it! Some brushes just don't fan out well, or the polish is the wrong consistency or something, and i end up feeling like i'm just back to square one and haven't done a perfect job like i wanted to.
I know it's not an issue for a lot of people, since a lot of people are self employed and so can choose their own enamels, but that's not the route i want to go down - i plan to work in a salon, so i won't have control over what enamel is used. I really worried about having to paint with different enamels than my own personal ones that i find easy to work with. And i feel like a failure too because i feel like i should be able to achieve the same result regardless of the enamel.
Any thoughts?
