Hello,
1 of my regular clients has decided to stop having full head bleach blonde high lights and to go for an ombre. Im happy doing this technique and i think it will look fab and save her maintenance problems but im really interested in any wella colour mixes that you know would cover nicely, stay covered and not go khaki after 2 weeks. Her hairs been bleached for a long time. Base is a 5/6 so would like to go from a 5 into a warm 6/7. Is it going to be as easy as adding say some gold mix in with my chosen colour as pre piggin, washing off, drying, re colourling is tricky with ombres. Also,
Will kp permanent or col touch be better? Any tried and tested recipes would be much appriciated.
Ive attached the 2 xolour photos she likes.
Thanks.

Has anyone successfully covered bleach blonde with a warm 6/7 in wella first time?

Use wella illumina 1/2 7/31 and 1/4 7/89 + 6% no need to pre pig with illumina and this colour is a lovely tone that doesn't go green over blonde but also doesn't go too warm or gingery! I normally mix this with colour ID and do a ombré but that last part is optional if you are happy with your own technique. Hope that helps

Thankyou, does it come out a true 7 or would i be better going to a 6 for a bit more depth to avhieve the colour like the photo above?

I would use a level 7 and add your pre pig in with your tint for this x

I go for Wella Illumina 7/31+7/81 (1:2 or 1:1) depending how much of each tone you want more in clients hair. You can also add a 7/ to keep the colour depth but just a 0.5 to the ratio 1:1, or use Koleston 7/1+7/07 (+possibly 7/0). And of course 6% with them all.

First attachment Koleston Second Illumina
