Hi Guys

I dont know how many of you have tried this but today we started routing through the decoration for the salon. At the same time one of my technicians was sorting out the nail polish box. Well I put two and two together and got some silver spray paint - sprayed the old bottles then with some striping glitter put some stars on - hey presto nail salon appropriate decorations for our christmas tree and window.

We had a great time decorating each bottle individually - I think a bit of Blue Peter and Art attack came out. Am going to try and airbrushing on some tomorrow.

Just a thought if you are stuck for some decoration.

Hey just had a look at your website its brill. Love the nail art its real cute.

Sounds good Heidi!

I had a go at similar myself last year. I hung mini Solar Oil's on my black tree instead of baubles, and I made a cardboard cutout of Creative's 'c', covered it in pva glue then dipped it in silver glitter.
It all looked quite cute.
I know I took a piccie of it cos I sent it to Samantha, Ill see if I still have it!

Was thinking of gettingh a black tree this year - does anyone know where I could get a small table one?

Think I will pinch the idea of spraying old bottles as well - sound a really great idea.

Ive seen small ones in loads of different places recently.
Try your local Garden Centres, ours is Gardenlands and has plenty of tabletop ones.

I found the pic but as the tree is black & the Solar Oil bottles clear, they dont show up too well in the pic.
It looked much better in the flesh ... honest it did!
