CND Shellac on acrylic nails?

Does anyone have any problems with their shellac slightly chipping at the free edge of acrylic nails?
I cap the free edge with colour coat and top coat but keep it thin, I don't know why it slightly chips

Do you make sure to go over completely with the top coat?

Although that part that's chipped is a little tucked under the nail and i wonder if it had adequate uv exposure? Does your uv lamp have reflective surfaces inside?

I went around the edges with the top coat and made sure they were completely covered, I have the cnd lamp I might remove the inside so it's completely reflected underneath though do you think that might make a difference on acrylic?
