hi girls i am after some advice i am currently using nsi colour gel and i am finding that after 90 seconds of curing some of the colour is coming off on the wipe during cleansing but after applying another coat of colour the results are as they should be but why is it coming off after the 1st cure?? i am using a 36w lamp and curing for the correct time?? please help!!!!

Hiya,

This is just a guess as i don't use NSI's coloured gels but i use their clear and french gels. Try turning your lamp on once before you start with nothing in it just to warm up it a bit. That's the only thing i can think of as it's not happening on your second layer, unless the first layer is too thick?

Hope you get it sorted

hi hun the colour gels need curing for atleast 2mins even in a 36w lamp so i would cure for longer.there is no need for you to wipe in between applying the layers but this is not unsual for some of the colour to appear on the wipe if you remove the tacky layer.do you need to remove the tacky layer because when i apply i would apply 2 coats of colour and then apply either finish clear or glaze n go over the top without removing the tacky layer.hths.x

Hi Kellymac I don't wipe of in between layers two layers of color then clear top coat :)
