The Fingertips Centre mear Edinburgh for CND nails stuff...also I think Your local college does evening classes in verious things to do with beauty..I would advise that waxing is probably one of the most popular treatments aside from nails and tanning

I did all my training at NSI in Glasgow, I'm in Angus so was a bit of a pain, but well worth it

Hi Stoney

I agree with you it can be a bit of a pain traveling to and from training but well worth it.

You will not do better than CND/Creative. Call/contact Fiona Wallace [email protected] 0131 3333180

Search her name on here and just see the glowing testimonials she and her daughter (wee FI) have received. A brilliant team to be sure.

Beauty Distribution Scotland are based in Aberdeen and distribute spray tanning, nails and waxes etc throughout Scotland and work closely with training academies in Aberdeen (owned by them),Glasgow,Perth and Edinburgh.
At the moment they are in the process of constructing a website.

It is always best when choosing training to go to the SPECIALISTS in my opinion. Those with the reputation for excellence in their own profession.

The 'jacks of all trades' and Masters of none is to me not a recommendation that carries the weight or the expertise of specialists in their own field.

Of course the final decision is yours and what you feel is best for your career path.

Thanks Collin, I have never heard of them but look forward to finding out more because when I am ready to do some courses it would be great to do them in Aberdeen or Inverness :green:

Good Luck with the training Cherry and welcome to the forum :)

well said collin.... I would just like to add that there are quite a few well known companys out here that are all very good at what the do as regards to training who have dedicated and professional teams with many years experience within the industy.

It is however a shame that not everyone shares this mutual appreciation of our industry as a whole and the individuals who work thier little bottoms off, to keep the next generation of nail tech/therapist up to date with new techniques etc.

Hello everyone, I am relatively new to this site and have so far found it really useful and everyone really friendly and helpful:hug: But I don't understand this post - is there a problem in Scotland? Who or what is it that's a shame? I thought that most companies on here were doing their best for all techs and students have I got it wrong?
