Hi, yes your right, Parabens can be found in shampoos, commercial moisturizers, shaving gels, cleansing gels, lubricants, topical pharmaceuticals, toothpaste, etc etc the list is endless. However there are Parabens that are OK and Parabens that are bad, alot of tests have been done on the use of them and there is evidence to suggest that it is best to keep them to a minimum - i wont go into the effects but for example they have been associated with various diseases, you can search the net re their safety or look in the British Medical Journal if you want to check it out further. Anyway i dont want to scare anyone all i am saying is that i would look for a Natural Based Solution. There is a massive difference with putting a bit of makeup onto your face which may have parabens in and having your whole body sprayed with it, the harshing effect is from the alcohol content - if you do tanning you will know that DHA needs to get onto the skin by some method, some products deliver it in an alcohol base some in other bases, if it uses an alcohol base this is similar to spraying a perfume all over the body - which in my opinion is not what clients want - thats why i suggested an aloe base. hope this clarifies for you.
