i was thinking of posting info about reduced rates for e/extensions whilst i am in practice mode - i can then email link to all my friends on fb

would appreciate link or pointer in right direction for creating a group

many thanks x

Click on "groups" on your home page, then at the top right hand side it says "create a group" click on that & away you go!

I also ment to add, if you write your special offer in your status as well then all your friends see it!

No problem! :D
Yes I have a group, "ELITE TANNING & BEAUTY"
Have a look if you like, yes you can have photos, post information, send all members a message, it is really good.

hi sorry to butt in on this thread but are group pages better than a business page?

Hi,
To be honest I dont know - think they are very similar, & think the "groups" were around first so just stuck with the group I made & never did a business page, as I didnt think people/clients would want to join both!
I think they both hold the same information anyway!
I guess you would do one or the other!
Love Emma xx

If you create a fan page fans will see status updates, etc. Don't think groups do that. You can send them mail messages but sometimes you just want a wee "did 2 sets of lashes this week" to remind people you are still about.
