Creative Brisa??

So I absolutely love the Creative Retention when I do acrylics, however I would like to seal them in well with a gel overlay. I don't want to mix products so I was thinking of getting a pot of the Brisa clear to do that with. If I just use the clear, can I cure it with any UV light? I can't afford to buy Creative's light.

Also has anyone tried using Gelousy for a gel product?

As a top coat you would need to use Brisa topcoat as opposed to the clear which is a sculpting gel.

To cure Brisa, the Brisa lamp is essential though. HTH

I also agree with Adele.....it is just the Brisa UV Finishing gloss topcoat you would need, and if that is all you were going to use from the range I think you could get away with any gel lamp.
However should you decide to get the full range and put Brisa gel nails on your service menu you would most definitely need the Brisa Lamp.

Don't forget to charge your clients extra for the gel topcoat!!

Have any of you tried using Gelousy? I spoke to my cousin who is a veteran nail tech of almost 25 years and she said the Brisa has no durability, shine or strength and recommended Gelousy. All I know about gels is that I hate OPI's Axxium.

I use Brisa, it is extremely durable, very strong and has the most amazing shine.

Why would someone say otherwise

I agree with Adele, that simply is not true and I'm almost incredulous here that anyone would say it to you.
