I had an email today warning me about a scam.
When you are using your credit card to pay for a restaurant meal for example
make sure you check that the card returned to you is actually yours!
the scam is to give you back a card of the same CC company but not yours
who acutally checks the small print 'your name' on the card when you are having a swell time out.
another one to watch is Lockers in Gyms they get broken into and you think nothing is taken as you check your wallet for cards and only see the edge of the card it looks like yours but the name on it is not! they have swapped it.
So be careful and make sure at all times using your CC that the one you put back in your wallet is actually YOURS!
