As I'm very much a newbie, I just wanted to know at what stage of the manicure the cuticle oil should be applied?!

personally i apply it at the end of the service....i find it helps alot with the drying of the nail enamel....i just think its a nice thing to finish with...espescially if its a nice scented one.

I apply mine as a final check before they go wash. Yes, I know they just wash it off, but this gives me the opportunity to check by feeling as I am rubbing in the oil to make sure my work is a smooth s can be.

On a natural nail manicure I apply the oil before they wash and then if they need the polish to dry more quickly I may apply it then as well. Yes, I know some will find this extravagant but my clients deserve it!

I apply mine after removing polish. When my Dry & Shine is all gone, I will re-apply after I polish, also. HTH! :)

i always apply at the end, i find it hard to keep hold of their finger once iv used oil, i wouldnt put oil on before polish application as you want it nice and clean, so would always do it last thing, it help the polish dry too.

When I trained with Jessica they trained us to put the oil on at the start of the manicure before soaking the nails. I now work with Nailtiques and apply the cuticle oil first then apply the cuticle and skin gel (moisturiser) and nail moisturiser as I was told this seals to oil into the nail. I also apply it at the end of the treatment as I think its a nice way to finish and sets the nail polish.

HTH
xx
