Dark Purple tips?

Hey ladies (and gents:wink2

I'm on the hunt for Dark Purple tips, no glitter on them (but I'll tolerate a bit of shimmer).
I've seen them in pics, but can't find them at any of my distributors.

I want them for my wedding. I'm totally "pants" at doing a french on my right hand, so I want to cheat for my wedding and use tips :lol:

Any ideas?

Thanks luv, but I was looking for "Dark" purple, my MOH is wearing lavender and I wanted a 'dark' purple.
I'll keep these in mind though, if I don't find what I'm looking for.

Hi try looking on Galaxy Nails, i get all my coloured tips from here, not to expensive and reat colours

I really am not an ambassador for them guys! I just find if I cant get what I am looking for I look their and I usually get it!

Or why not get some coloured gel (With all the different colours available now you could get a perfect colour match) and then put the gel on white tips before applying to your nail and 'sealing in with a layer bulder/clear gel.

Its not the best long term solution, but I tried it the first time I was playing with glitter tips and it does work.

I used this method but with purple glitter L&P. I put it onto the tips before applying it to my nail and it worked ok. I used these tips whilst playing about with popits and although the popits weren't perfect these pictures give you an idea. Ignore the flaws in the popits.

I did try ebay:o:o after looking everywhere else. I keep finding pale purple and not the deep purple I'm after.

But they idea of putting coloured gel on tips BEFORE applying them is BRILLIANT:!:
That way, I can play with colours to get the exact shade of purple I want, choose whatever tips I like to get the smile I want and voila!
THAT'S BRILLIANT!!:lol: (I am so terrible at doing a smile on myself, it's embarassing. Everyone says they look nice, but they annoy me cause I see all the faults.)

I have tried doing a french in poppits once and oh my, what a disasterous mess I made :lol::lol: Doesn't work so well with gel as with L&P (but I"ll figure it eventually haha)

If you have a deep purple nail polish in the colour that you want, why not mix it with a clear gel to make your own custom blend colour. This is all I do for any colour gel. I don't buy any colour gels. It doesn't take much varnish and as long as you dont change the viscocity of the gel. It needs to be a good quality polish and I just add a few drops at a time till I have the shade I desire. hth
