Disinfecting snake skin?

Hi just wondering if I were to use real snakeskin on enhancements, how do I sanitize/disinfect the skin prior to application.
In one thread someone soaked it in hibiscus solution(I think) but I have no idea and would love your suggestions and advice

Hi!

Where are you buying your snake skin from? I'm not sure of the disinfection/sanitising process however if you bought it from where you trained doing nails i would like to think it will already have been disinfected and ready to use. X

My daughter's snake has shed it's skin....it got me thinking
