This thread is inspired by a hair appointment I had today. My stylist and I are on a mission to get my hair as long and healthy as possible. Well, she does her part, but I definetly don't do mine. LOL!
I'm supposed to tie my hair up in a scarf to prevent breakage, use this super expensive shampoo and conditioner once a week, come in every six weeks for a trim, blah, blah, blah.
The irony is, we give our clients similar aftercare instructions, and educate them on how to get the most out of their services, but do we follow "aftercare" advice when we get services done? Do you follow the advice of your hairstylist? Facialist? Or even your own advice for your nails? Do you follow through with treatment instructions?
Do you follow the advice from your doctor? Dentist? Or even the little care tag on the inside of your clothes? What advice is there that you KNOW you should be following, but you don't? I'm curious, let's share.
