Hi Geeks, I have some questions.....

Do you remember off hand things such as
  • Nail disorders (all of them) and what they look like and what to do?
  • How many bones there are in the hand/wrist/fingers and their other names i.e wrist - carpus
  • what exactly the free edge, hyponychium, lunula, enponychium, matrix etc is and its purpose?
Because i cant seem to remember everything or every nail condition? just bits and pieces here and there.

Are all these things i should know every single thing about like the back of my hand or am i normal for not remembering everything?

No I don't remember most of it, but I recognize the terms when I see them written so they must be in my wooly head some where lol
Thats why I have my nail books and I still have my course notes
Then when I do a new course I can brush up the night before and not look like a 42carrot plonker:green:

Ahh thank you! I am so glad i am not the only one started to go into 'panic mode thinking i have a memory of a fish'

hi i panic too i know its in there but all the info gets mixed up with all the other stuff too i think if you needed to know you would probably remember .i think i might just did out my old course work and refresh good thread :wink2:xxx

Lol huni you are completely normal! Nobody can possibly remember ALL of them. I do think it's good to know the nail conditions though, but who needs to know about bones of the wrist once your qualified?!! So i'm not fussed if i forget bones, it's not going to help me in any way whilst doing a treatment lol x x x

yep, im the same... i would say i'm lucky and have a pretty good memory however there's soooo much to take in and remember, even though it's recognisable and familiar information it all gets a bit woolly:lol: xx

Thanks Ladies for making me feel at ease and 'normal'
