Ear candling before flying

Hi, can anyone who performs ear candling give me some advice? I have a lady wanting to book in before her holiday but she says she has been told there is a timescale to have it done before flying (ie, not just before). I wasn't aware of this and I do perform ear candling a couple of days before people fly. I have contacted my trainer who says there are no timescales?
Has anyone been taught differently?

In my training I learnt that it really helps if you suffer with your ears when flying, then have the treatment as close to ur flight as possible xx
