Epilator

When my daughter shaves her legs she has pinpricks of blood and then after its sore to touch and doesn't look nice, she uses plenty of have cream and a new razor, she won't have them waxed as her hair is dark and she doesn't like having to let the hair come through so I was thinking of getting her an epliator but not sure about the pain ?

Get a wet and dry one that can be used in the bath, long soak in a hot bath makes it less painful. Other than that, couple of painkillers little while before like waxing, after a few goes it gets less painful too!

Its painful to begin with but like Clare says it does get less painful the more you do it, I have been epilating for a few years now and I barely feel anything when doing my legs now.
