I was just wondering if anybody uses this range in their salon, and if they think it's good? Got an information pack and it looks fab, but would like opinions before I buy.

Sarah xx

iv just been told this is good stuff in another thread and that it is good :)

Hello,

I previously used Dermalogica while working in salons but now I am mobile use Eve Taylor. the prices are great and the products are lovely. I tried them out on myself first and my skin has improved so much! I brought the mobile kit and my clients love it. The customer service has also been great!xx

Its a lovely range. My clients really like it and its very nice to work with. I find that with it being an aromatherapy range you can create extremely relaxing facials with it and im seeing really good results with improvement in skin condition. The oils smell so nice.

Initially i just got the mobile kit rather than the larger one and a few extras such as the bio exfoliant, enzyme peel (my favourite) and the peel masques (which are fab). Now im just adding larger sizes of everything as i need them as theres no minimum order. All in all it gets a big thumbs up from me :) xx

Use it, love it, love the company and everything about it/them.
Clients love it, I have several who have switched from Dermalogica and say they like this more as results better!
You won't regret opting for this it's all so versatile too.
No minimum order... you have nothing to lose. You will adore it!

Thanks so much hot the replies!!

I was considering buying the mobile kit, but noticed the sizes are 50mls, does this last a long time?

I started up my own business last May. I'm Dermalogica trained but just can't afford the prices!! Reassuring that customers have converted Eve Taylor after using Dermalogica.

I'm waiting for samples to be sent out to me, looking forward to trying them!!

Again, thanks for your help :) xx

Just to balance this out, I've tried a few of the products and didn't like them at all. I wasn't keen on the texture of some of the creams and found many of the scents quite unappealing, particularly one of the scrubs which smelt as though it were mouldy. But hey ho, different strokes for different folks, best get some samples and suck it and see so to speak!!

Hi Martin

I use Eve Taylor in my salon and I love it - although to be honest I dont like the smell of the enzyme peel; the products are lovely, the customer service great and there is no minimum order; I would love to do their training course but at the moment I cannot afford the time out of the salon. I use their products myself and I am happy - also a lot cheaper than estee lauder/clarins that I used to use

Are there a range of different facials that the likes of Dermalogica offer? I'm really tempted, at the moment I'm just using Skin Truth as I only started last May. I was scared of bringing in an expensive range incase I didn't do well, but the business is doing well and that's why I'm wanting advice on reasonable brands!!

Thanks for everyones help :) xx

no there aren't any s[cific facials, which is great though as u can create your own...i have a mini, a luxury and an advanced facial, which i think is enough if u specify that all treatments are suited to the clients skin...

Eve taylor products are FAB! very affordable so easy to retail! I use them on myself....and now do most of my friends n family n they all love them!
The facial oils are a god send! As is the facial cleansing brush, and bio exfoliant!

Defo choose Eve Taylor :)

Howdy

I opted for Eve Taylor as I wanted an affordable aromatherapy range that I could create custom facials with, and with Eve Taylor I get this.

Would agree that some of the products aren't to everyone's tastes (personally I don't like the smell of the enzyme peel but I love the results I get with it) but I love the facial oils and the facial massage blends, and the peel off masques are superb too.

I don't think you can compare it with the likes of the premium skincare houses (Decleor, Guinot, Elemis, etc.) as it's not in the same price point. But to be honest my clients have preferred Eve Taylor range as it is affordable for homecare, which given the current climate is top of their mind.

However, for the money and professional products available you cannot beat it for the ability to create custom and prescriptive facials.

Oh and their essential oils are great too!

Thanks so much for everyones help!!

I think I might just buy the mobile kit and then replace the products as I run out. I know the answer to this question depends on how many treatments you're doing, but roughly how long would the 50ml (mobile kit sizes) last?

Xx

I was looking at this kit called them.and they said you will only get a max of 4.applications from each tube!

Before investing buy a load.of samples from them. Personally Im not liking them. For.facials great but long term use i wouldn't use or recommend

Hi
I have been using Eve Taylor for over a year now, but previously used Dermalogica. I have to say that my clients love it, and I have now introduced the men's range and all my gents love it too. One even comes in every week for a mini facial as he said the oils have made such a difference to his skin.
Their customer service is fab and they are fine with you just placing small orders too!
I recommend the De-Stress Massage oil! Heaven! :)

I love Eve Taylor products. The training is great and the customer service is great.

I have converted many of my clients to use their products for their homecare routines too. It is great quality and value range. I would sincerely recommend it.

I'm going to be setting up mobile soon too and as I'm training with Dermalogica I ttried them for prices but ridiculously expensive!! Heard amazing things about Eve Taylor and love the samples they sent me. Like you, I was using Skin Truth but find some of their range I love, some is awful!!

Does anyone know if you can use eve Taylor on pregnant women and what training do they offer?

Thanks guys x

I use the brand and it is fantastic!
Like said above, if you're not sure buy some bigger sizes and try them out longer term, samples are ok but don't give you a good enough feel for the product!
Also if you're serious about choosing a brand, then visit an existing stockist and experience the treatment for your self, that way you will be able to see how good the professional products are too!

Yes you can use the products on pregnant ladies, but to be extra safe, just use the 'safety' blends, so facial oil no1, and the soothing cleanser, toner and moisturiser!
Ask Marie Reynolds their head educator, she is awesome and will advise you on anything eve taylor related, Marie has helped me so much, and it's support like that which makes this such a fab brand to work with!!!!!

Echo the above, All the "soothing" products on pregnant women.
The training is fab if you can afford the time.
Marie Reynolds is an amazing woman. As Chris Taylor is a fab bloke.
The mobile kit is worth the purchase, you will get your money back before you use it all and are left with a great little case if you do have any mobile calls and you can replace any of the small sizes if you wish to keep a mobile kit ... I have their full range and the mobile kit which is yonks old but constantly renewed. I actually love the smell of the enzyme peel & so do my clients. The treatment candles are wonderful too for a nice little add on whilst the mask is on!!!!!!!
Eve herself if you ever manage to meet her is an inspiration ... xx

Oh I can't wait for my samples to come so that I can try them!! Lol.

What sort of prices are you's charging with the range?

At the moment using Skin Truth, I offer a mini facial (cleanse, exfoliate, mask, tone, moisturise) for £13, a specialised facial (cleanse, exfoliate, massage, head massage, mask, tone and moisturise) for £20.

Also, when I was using Dermalogica in my last 2 jobs, they had an 'oil free massage' which was great for massaging clients with problem skin. I can't find another brand that offers something similar, and I can't get the same slip and glide with an oil free cream or lotion!! Does Eve Taylor offer anything like this?

Apologies for the long reply!! Lol xx

There are 4 facial massage oils to choose from:
Clearing, revitalising, delicate and soothing.

The clearing blend has cypress, lavendar, basil, ylang ylang benzoin and rosewood, in a sweet almond base.
Ive had it used on me and its never felt too heavy on my oily skin and has never caused me to become 'clogged up' or get spots, and believe me this has happened with the other brands massage cream!

As its aromatherapy skin care, you may like to use the treatment oil blends instead and do a pressure point massage with drainage movements. This goes fantastically with the ET blends!
