hi geeks

sorry i know there have been alot of questions of here regarding eyelash extensions. i have only been doing extensions for a few a weeks and have only done four or five set but i am finding after you have a lash on and then go to put the next one on the one before gets tangled up with the others that have been put on and end up looking wispy (hope that makes sense) so if you wanted to put quite afew in close together how do you geeks do it, do you put in them spread about and then go and fill in between the lashes that you had put on earlier (hope this makes sense)

Yes that's exactly what you need to do.
I was taught to do your structure (inner eye, middle areas and outer eye) then go back and fill, fill, fill.
Also, you may need to hold the other lashes out of the way for a few seconds before releasing so that they don't stick together. As you get quicker you can buy a faster drying glue and this almost eliminates the problem.
hth's

Hi showson yeah thats what I would do I would isolate one lash attach lash move over to the other eye and do the same. I dont attach a lash straight next to the one I have put on I leave a few lashes in between to make sure the glue has dried so they dont get stuck together then fill in as I go along.

Hope that makes sense. xxx

thanks for your quick response,

thought that was where i was going wrong i would put one on and then one on next to the one i had just done and end up in a right mess with them some getting crossed over and some ending up a little wonkey even though it was straight when i put it on. i will give that i go tomorrow when i do set, i will start at the outer corner leave a litle gap then do another and so on until i get to the inner corner and then start at the outer corner again is that right X

Yes, that's what I do too. Set the structure then put a lash in between eah of those lashes, then in between each of those lashes, then in between each of those lashes, then in between each of those lashes, then in between each of those lashes...

I go from eye to eye. This is the way I was taught on training. When I started practising I lashed one eye hen did the other but I've gone back to eye to eye. I find I get less stickies. I guess that's the reason we're taught that way.

yeah that makes sense, i will try eye to eye tomorrow ,

thank you for you advise X

Yes definitely eye to eye, also by doing it this way you benefit from applying the same amount of lashes to each eye and thus eliminating differenced between the two eyes.
