it does look salmony if you apply too much. try to feather it into zone 3 slightly not too much product. hope this makes sense:)

i also sometimes added blush to take the salmony effect away or edge.

Izzidoll will be the best one to help))))

hope this helps:hug:

thanks nataliya.xx
i just didnt want to give up on it just yet

I personally like to do a "CBM" by mixing parts of: Cover It, Blush It, & Clear It. Have a play and find the mix that you like.

I don't like using either Cover-It or Blush-It alone.

Another thing you can do is apply it very thinly THEN apply Clear-It to build the nail.

I think it depends on the client's skin tone Tracey. On some people it looks fine and on others you may find that you have to do a custom blend, as Victoria said.

I have used the cover it on me and I quite like the colour, although I was careful not to use too much and I also used the pink it more so in zone 3.

thanks for the replies.
i dont do cb so i thought it would be a good idea to have a variety of different tones/shades to try as im just experimenting as i may switch brands.thanks again.xxx

You don't necessarily have to do "CBM" in the customary way.

You could just mix the gels until you get the colour that you do like, as I did. There's no need to change brands. If the brand is performing well for you, just 'mix' it up a bit to meet your needs.
It's the same everywhere, that there will be always something not quite to your liking, and you'll have to adapt it.

Just look at Geeg: she has a CBM recipe using Creative products to get the natural colour for the white edge that she wants for her CBM's with L&P. She used it for her Natural look nails in the Solar Oil campaign pictures for the adverts. And beautiful, they are, too.
(PS: I have my own blend of EZ Flow gels for my white edge too!)

thanks for the advice victoria.
i currently use nsi products and they dont do a cover gel at all hence why i have been looking at ther brands.nsi seem to be behind other companies with there products which is a shame as i do like using there gels etc... but just feel that my life would be easier and i would get better results if i look else where for the certain things i want.
great advice though as i currently have both the warm and cool coverage akzentz gels whch i like them both but one gives better coverage than the other so it could be interesting to see what comes out of them being mixed together.
i love experimenting.xxx

Yes I agree skin tone has a lot to do with it. Cover it can be really useful on damaged nails but as has been said you sometimes have to do a bit of a mix to get the custom blend just right x

has anyone tried the nudite cover gel by entity? i just came across it on the internet and the colour looks gorgeous. where can i buy it from? as ive been on to the beauty partnership website and they only seem to sell the whole kit
