Hi,
How do you fade one colour into another with acrylics?
What I maen is that I have seen enhancements where the top half is lets say pink and the colour turns purple at the bottom?
Please help me, maybe it obvoius but it baffles me slightly.
Thanks

Put your bead of "pink" closest to the cuticle feather it down ....then put your bead of "purple" where your pink isn't a solid color and take it to the tip....you can feather the purple back toward the cuticle to....I did a 3 color fade on some nails...let me see if I can figure out how to post it.
Happy Saturday,
Leslie

Not sure if this will work ......not sure how to post pictures

Maybe if you see a picture if will help you visualize what you need to do.
p.s. this customer of mine LOVES to be flashy.....personally I think these nails are U.G.L.Y. but she loved them LOL Guess thats what counts!

I haven't read your profile yet hun, So am unsure what system you are using,
But I got the NSI beyond the basics DVD, a while ago, and on it there is a demonstration of a fade....I was already doing them by the time I watched this, but it did help it all to "click" into place more.
The technician uses a sort of "bobbing the brush" method...Like quickly and lightly bobbing the brush up and down but at the same time pushing and pulling the product....This keeps the application nice and thin but faded at the point you will overlap the next colour, allowing them to blend perfectly.
Its hard for me to explain...lol
Sounds tricky to read, but is easy peasy to watch :green:
