Fake tan in hair follicles

Hi geeks, does anyone have any advice on how to prevent fake tan showing up in the hair follicles? Its only happening on my forearms. I'm using the st tropez gradual tan. Its not too dark for me as i already have quite a bit of tan left from my holidays. Its just making it look really speckled. Is this common with spray tan too? Does it happen on anyones clients? I'm going to be doing my training next month which i'm really looking forward too! Is there any way i can prevent this? Id like to use a darker tan but i'm worried about it showing up in the follicles even more, especially those with a colour guide.
I always exfoliate well before tanning too.
Any ideas??

hi julia, nope not waxing them or doing any hair removal on my arms at all lol!

I sometimes get that on my legs if I have shaved soon before spraying, or my razor is needing changed. But to be honest, I haven't seen it on normal hair like on arms etc.

Sorry I can't be of any help, but it is normally just on open pores I have seen this occasionally happen x

My daughter gets it on her back even though she exfoliates well before each tan - it stil looks like lots of blackheads :irked:

i get it on my chest esp with gradual tanners or if iv done two applications and its not there until like day 2...... plus fake tan makes me sweat
