Hi Geeks,

Ok I know I'm probably doing your heads in with this gel scenario but i'm so confused I really don't know what to do.
I'm looking to take part in a Gel induction the problem is with who. It's either between Creatives Brisa or Ez Flow's Gel It! Both have incredible reputations and I love the look of both products. The question is how the hell do I choose which one?!

What did you all do to decide which brand to use?

Any advice would be fantastic x

Why don't you try meeting with the teachers and see if you get a good feeling from them? Also checkout ongoing support and education.

Have you tried the system yourself? Which you like BEST?:)

One deciding factor in me choosing Brisa is because it's hypoallergenic, it doesn't contain 3 ingredients that are known irritants, Gluteraldehyde, Formaldehyde and Acrylates.
hth's a bit

Are you sure it does not contain acrylates? In MSDS clearly states
URETHANE METHACRYLATE OLIGOMERS 90%
METHACRYLATE MONOMERS 5%
SILICA 5%

urethane methacrylates are different from acrylate's which are found in most traditional UV gel systems, so no brisa gel doesn't contain acrylates

Urethane Methacrylite Oligomer is still acrylite.Correct?

No more so than Ethyl Methacrylate is MMA or an an acrylate. They are related, but acrylates are stronger sensitisers than urethane acrylates - hence the reason it is hypoallergenic. Same with Gluteraldehyde - that is a VERY strong sensitiser.

Thank you for all your advice. I really wish I could try them both but becasue i dont have a lamp of my own I cant really buy a trial kit. :(

I don't believe either do try me kits anyways ....Only you can decide!

Thanks Cathie!! lol I'm rubbish at making decisions. My boyfriend even has to decide what to have for tea!! lol hmmmm!!!

I'd go with Brisa. CND has had way more time in the business of gel than EZ Flow. Not to down on EZ Flow, their l/p products rock! I think you'll find that Brisa will be easier to buy and find educational support for, in the future. Go for longevity when picking a gel system. It's an expensive start up cost.
