First attempt at stilletto

Did the first 3 nails then hubby decided he couldn't hack it! Had to file them down :lol: Would love your opinion on my first attempt at this shape though!

I'm not qualified yet to offer experienced critique, but I do have a good eye for detail, so........
I really like them, youv'e done a grand job for a 1st attempt, keep up the good work :hug:

The only thing that is not quite OK, in my oppinion, is that the stress zone is a bit too thin.
Is it gel or L@P? ))

ps The first time I did my stilettoes I slept in gloves - their points seemed so sharp to me.

very erm ... dangerous ! love the art and the finish, I didnt score as I am no expert in this sort of nail.

So people really wear this sort of nail ? I dont have any call for anything but the norm ?

The only thing that is not quite OK, in my oppinion, is that the stress zone is a bit too thin. Surprisingly it was quite a thickness when I took the length down (actually it was shockingly thick). I think on a client I would probably add more product in the stress area, but for me this thickness is fine as I never seem to have breakages.

Actually the 'middle' finger in the pic is thick enough. It's the one on the right I picked out as 'thin' - but then again - it's just a comment. ))
