Hello! I've done my first attempt at a custom blend today. I really enjoyed it and it went better than I thought. I got a booking for next week from it, from another lady in the salon with bitten nails who saw the end result and liked the effect so it can't be that bad (she says!)

I would love it if you could have a look and give me your opinion please.

The obvious problems I see are the smile being slightly fuzzy and not super crisp, and i'm not sure if the colour is too orange?

I wasn't sure how to post the pics so they are in an album in my profile, many thanks for looking!

That's your FIRST attempt? OMG...it's FAB. Good for you...keep it up! :)

They look fabulous, well done! Btw I'm a hair geek not a nail geek, but couldn't resist replying - they really look great :)

Aww thanks! I was panicking over them. I mixed about four different batches first, but thats the first ever custom blend onto a nail. Thanks so much! x x

I think you have done a fantastic job there and I would be more than happy to wear a set of these.

I think they look really great too xx

These are fab misses, you would never know it was your first set:hug:

I didn't expect all the nice comments, i'm welling up, feel like doing an oscars speech...
I'm going to get my nail biter friend to sit for a full set in the week now, its not as scary as I thought, I now can't wait x

Will you share you custom blend recipe with us please, looks to me like you have done a great job.

I use ezflow powders.

I did 5 parts Natural, 1 part Pansy, and then a teeny tiny bit of citrine to cut through the pinkness.

I use my propusher and I dont know if this is right, but it seems to measure out well. I need to find some teeny tiny weeny winy measuring scoops I think!
