Well done for posting and also for working on such challenging short nail beds. There are a few areas I think you can improve:

1. Reduce the ratio of white : pink, either by shortening the white or using an opaque pink powder to extend the nail bed, as they will look more flattering this way.

2. From what I can see on the thumbs, the apex is missing-you need them thicker in zone 2 for strength.

Your smile lines are good, are they white tips or white powder?

White tips me thinks?
To add to what's already been said, first the good bits, you side walls are nice and straight, but, you really need to work on zone 3 getting the product a lot thinner as it gets closer to the base of the nail, I can say what it's called but don't ask me to spell it:eek:
Also yes, to get a nail that looks a lot more in balance, you need to see 2 thirds pink to 1 third white. This will make the nails look a lot longer and the whole hand will look slimmer and more elegant.
Here in Northampton the girls like the 50/50 look, go figure:rolleyes:
Well done for posting hun, if you're looking to do something with these skills, then I would suggest you book a 121 training day with any of the big companies, they will pick up on anything you have forgotton, brush up on all the little things and at the end of it you will be able to buy direct from a top company for all your products and updates.:hug:

Good job sweets! Fun to jump back in huh!

I would add to all this with ;
For a biter I think you need to go shorter so she cab Grow in to them. Being a chewer my self, when I 1st started I could not have them come past the tip at all!!!! I would get mad and they would come off! If she is a friend then that is great you can have her come in every week to check she is not biting lol.
I would bring her plate out a bit and maybe not to the white tips till she has grown up a month or so.
The other think I see is the side edge on a few tapers in more then others (middle finger the most) Make sure you lay the file straight from the side of the nail out so you get l l and not \ / unless you are going for tapered. The last thing I might add is Polish on a biter tends to keep us from LOOKING at them..... lol It is an OCD thing and we can really find things that we HAVE to "fix" till we get the nail off.

I am SO glad you are starting again! I hope you can get to a class and get a refresh! Not bad for a 5 year brake! <3
