HI all

I did my first set of nails on a clients ironing board today, I got to the clients house only to find she didnt have any sort of table luckly I had read on here previouly about using the iroing board. I was wondering what you guys would do in that situation?

i have a little white table that i got from ebay for about 15 inc delivery probably less and its lasted me nearly a year and its been bashed about all over the place. its only now im feeling like i need a new one. its good to have incase of emergencies . its just the right height and looks quite professional when covered with a towel. I think its actually supposed to be for your laptop or dinner when your on the couch lol xx

Hi there,

Yes I had this happen to me years ago and tried the ironing board trick only to find that she had the wobbliest board in the world!

Learnt from that and now always ask if they have a proper table that I can use. It's easy to get in the habit of doing this. I ask where will we be doing your nails and then if they have a table. I ask where because if they say a conservatory then if it's in the Summer it will be too hot probably and in the Winter you will need to know if there is heating in there!

Love

Sheila :)

Hi Hun,
You can get loads of fold away nail tables on Ebay.
But when I did mobile I bought a fold down table from Costco, still use it now in my home salon as a side table. It was about £20.
Lotsa luv x x x  x x x

Hi Poshpinks, You just made me smile so much, you just took me back to my first days in the industry and the exact thing happened to me.
If you are traveling around mobile quite a bit and want to give a really professinal image as a mobile tech then take a look at the latest Sweet squared brochure page 36 and you will see a mobile desk.

Thanks all for the great tips i will certainly look into these tables that you have suggested. xx

I got a camping table from my local garden centre and my brother who is a printer laminated it black and then put my logo on to it, it looks fab!. I think the table cost me about £15.99 and two foldaway chairs from ikea cost me 9.99
