Hi guys,

Have my first french shellac tommorrow and I'm a bit nervous! for calgel or polish I usually put white on as neat as possible then swipe out smile with calguard-scrubfresh. What method do you think would be best for me with shellac?
Do base, white, then use dry brush to do smile?
or base, neglige, then white? using scrubfresh?
or base, white dry brush or damp (basically dip in scrubfresh and wipe off as much as poss) then neglige?

Help lol xx

Do your PEP first
Apply Shellac UV Base coat and cure 10 seconds
Create your smile with Cream Puff Shellac and use a dry brush to perfect if needs be
Cure for 2 minutes
Add French colour of your choice - cure for 2 minutes
Add second coat - cure for 2 mins
Add UV top coat - cure for 2 mins
Use d.sperse to wipe inhibition layer
Add a dot of SolarOil -
She's out of there....

Simples!

Ask the client if she wants bright white or a softer white with the pink over the white.
If you need to tidy up your smile line use brush with d-sperse on it before curing the colour.
You will be fine, is there no-one you can practise on first?
I was nervous doing my first french yesterday, but they came out nice, I just need to remember to keep them thin! x

Does brush have to be dry like hard? lol or just wet enough to soften bristles then dried if you know what I mean? I don't have any disperse yet as none left on sunday  but was told calgraurd would be ok for the short term as is very similar to dispearse.
Luckily Its a regualr client that I have had for a few years and she is very very nice, just started my self in a panic as I do! lol Think it's just beacuse could'nt get any training first, roll on sunday! xx

Sarah is Calguarde alcohol or acetone? SrubFresh has acetone properties and you just said it was like ScrubFresh. You NEED alcohol to wipe off the inhibitionlayer at the end. The last thing you want to use is anything that contains acetone which is what breaks down Shellac!

Just wanted to say thanks for all the help :D I have posted a pic up, did'nt get the smile as crisp as usual on the first hand! not sure if its because I'm used to using a wet brush (eg dipped and wiped) the negilge is lovely! The client was really happy too but I would like to improve ;) as I want perfect not ok! lol
I applied base, then creme puff, swiped out smiles, then neglige, then top coat (obviously curing inbetween :D)
