Hi everyone, I have a question about foils and gel polish. I've only ever used foils with normal polish but it never lasts long and I've read before about people putting it in gels. Now I have various colours and would like to know if the method I would be doing is correct.

So I would prep the nail, base coat and cure, colour two coats (if the foil was a transparent design) and cure, then I would press the foil onto the sticky layer, then topcoat and cure, and wipe and cuticle oil.

If it was just a metallic foil would you place straight after the base coat or perhaps do two coats of a neutral French pink colour?

Is this all correct?
I use Opi Gelcolor has anyone used foils with them before?

Hi yes this is correct i would still do the the two colour coats but with a similar or co-ordinating colour as to hide any imperfections, or show up dependant on the look you are wanting to achieve.

Thank you very much! Just wanted to check I had it right
