Foot Files/Rasps

Hi Geeks

Im looking for some recommended files/rasps, that give good results on the toughest soles...

Must either be sanitiserable (is that a word) or disposable...

Not the ped egg though...Oh and ive tried the ceramic ones which were quite good but think there may be better out there.

Well, having discussed robes from Tesco and gauze from Halfords, I'm going to risk being flamed and say, I am currently using foot files from Asda - they are great! They are not sanitisable but they are v. cheap. PM me if you want the cost. I re-use them for the same client. Or I just give them to the client for home use

Well there you go i never knew that...i despise Asda,am a waitrose fan:lol:....but i was thinking of how to get some disposable files,i know at work we get them direct from Ellisons i think:idea:

I get my foot files from Calgel when they are on offer - pm me if you want the price. They are a really reasonable price, much cheaper than the wholsesalers and a much better quality too.

I usually give mine a good old scrub and sanitise them but only ever use them on the same client, never on another one. This sets me apart from the competition around and my clients feel special as only "their" file is used on them.

If I was paying the prices they charge in the wholesalers then I could afford to do this.

Yep think im sold on the give the file to the client idea....
Also what little freebie would be good for a cnd SPA pedi?

If you're already giving them the file, they will probably be pleased with that. I sometimes give a mini solar oil and I have been known to give a mini cucumber heel therapy but only to clients whose feet really need help

You know those adds for ped egg? Well, when you use this file,
callouses go off the same way, but not grinding the skin, but filing
and smoothing. hth

I use a stanless steel 4 way rasp its fantastic it has 2 very cource ends and 2 fine i love it i can steralise it it doesnt rust its good i also have a rasper plastic that you stick on the course bit and use thats quite good also but i dont think i can live without my s steel rasp love that little fella )) you can contact me ill give all the details

I use the ones from Callus Peel as they are an adhesive piece of abrasive which sticks to a handle. The adhesive patch can then be binned and the handle washed for each client.
