Hi SG just a quick waxing question, would you start at the neck up or from the face down. I've had a client ask about having her whole face and neck waxed. Thank you

As a majority of the hairs should grow down I would start at the base of the neck and work my way up, so you then have a hair free area with which to flick up the edge of the wax. Obviously you may need to change direction slightly to coinside with the direction of hair growth. Does this make sense

Personally I would start at the base of the neck and work up toward the forhead xxx

I would just be methodical but I would have loads of strips of wax on.......making sure that you leave a gap in-between each one.

So for example:-

One running from under the lip to the bottom of the neck.
Then mirror the rest of the strips so that you have one one each side.
So apply the ones on the sides of the neck.
Then under the cheeks.

So now you have 5 strips on at the same time.

REMOVE ALL

Continue as I said.........mirror them.
Keep laying wax on so you're never standing idle.

You'll be able to see where you've already been as the skin will be slightly pink.

Thank you for your replies, how much would you charge for this treatment just as a guide?

Very interseting thread, which would be better to use Strip Wax or Hot Wax?
