My band is doing a charity gig on Friday 30th March 2012 in aid of Brain Tumour Research. It is Wear a Hat For Brain Tumour Research day.

It would be great to see as many geeks (and their hats) as possible to raise some money for this woefully underfunded charity. Brain Tumour Research receives 0.7% of cancer research funding. As those of you who have been following my friend's blog will know, this is a charity very close to my heart. I arranged this on Wednesday and have already raised £245 (thanks must go to some lovely geeks who have already donated). Every penny counts.
