A lot of people got fed up and took the advice to move over to Facebook to chat and stay in touch with the banned people.
Can you not tell them to make a new account on here lol x

Lol, agreed. Now that we weeded out the drama queens, Facebook is soo much better. ;-)
It's like that film sister act when sister mary clearance leaves the convent and everybody wants her back and goes searching for her around a casino!
Who's with me to get our sisters back?? Lol
I don't think they would want to come back, after the way they were treated

But I will say this even if there is banter on here some people will take it to heart. Some geeks always said never take things to things to heart on here. it's just a bit of banter, but I have seen 1 person who was really offensive in her posts and glad the horse face is gone!
Very pleased to hear there is a Village of the Banned. It isn't the first time one has been built and most likely not the last time either.
We are all for having fun but not at the expense of other members or in turning SalonGeek.com into a casual Facebook rant pad.
The core purpose of this site is to engage, support, share and educate while promoting professionalism. I can understand how that may be boring to some and why some would want to "fun" things up, but when that fun stops being harmless and starts to get into the realm of game playing it detracts from the sole purpose that brought you here in the first place, and becomes time to move on.
Hope that makes sense
I perfectly understand your point, this forum is extremely useful and educational and it should stay this way but frankly I couldn't see anything really nasty going on here even though I was here 2-3 times a week (not for hours but still). I have no idea (and no interest) why guys got banned but I can't believe they've done anything extreme (even though I'm not a friend of any of them), I'm not buying it. Also as a former admin I know there's plenty of tools to deal with '****uations' and discipline people and ban is the last solution - so to me, in my personal opinion, it all looks a bit like Salon Geek Village now, personal games etc. It was just nice to have a little laugh or rant after hard day at work, that's all. Oh well, nevermind.Very pleased to hear there is a Village of the Banned. It isn't the first time one has been built and most likely not the last time either.
