Hi

Recently, not entirely sure why, but ive been struggling with my nails.

I was getting really concerned as my sisters friend was getting married and she asked me to do her nails along with the bridesmaid.

Anyway, she has tiny nails so I had a try a few days before with my gel brush.

Now I dont know if I should have done that but I thought what the heck I was panicking anyway... But! I did a great set of nails!!

So I did her nails and she was really pleased with them and im getting along fine with my gel brush doing acrylics!

I just wanted to ask you experienced geeks if its OK to carry on?? Im really pleased with the nails ive been doing and the brush is all intact.

Thanks for your advice x

I would advise you to get a smaller Kolinsky L+P brush instead of "making do" with a brush that was intended for something else. Gel brushes aren't designed to hold liquid in their belly the same way L+P brushes are.
You can get Kolinsky brushes that are smaller, I have a size 6 that's ideal for doing smaller nails.

hth's a bit

Yes, your obviously finding it easier with a smaller brush....so I would invest in a smaller L&P brush, you'll have no probs :) xx

I agree, gel brushes are not designed for acrylic, get a smaller L&P brush :)

That makes sense!
Thanks very much girls, will do that x
