hi im having a brazillian done next week, im not sure how long the hair should be as ive had problems shaving so decided to wait now there is really long down there ( well i aint shaved for about 1 month so its like a forest lol ) i hate so cant wait but now im worried as last time she said its well to long but wouldnt cut it as i suffer from hairs all over ( bum) i dont want to be to long as it would hurt more i have a electric shaver which i could use to trim but how far should i

I advise at least 3 weeks growth after shaving, but be aware that it may take a few treatments to get best results. I prefer to trim my client's hair rather than get them to do it themselves as there is always a risk they'll cut it too short, but if your therapist refuses to do it for you I'd advise no shorter than 3/4 to 1cm (grade 3 on your clippers). Some folks can get away with a bit shorter, but try that for starters.
Just out of curiosity, why won't your therapist trim it for you?

Have you thought about going to a therapist who specialises in Brazilians? The length of hair wouldn't be an issue as they'd trim it. Also, you need to feel at ease and not as though you're being lectured. Are you pleased with the results that you get or are you new to Brazilian waxing?
This is the only salon that does brazilians ive asked around but no-one seems to do it, i dont know why she refuses but she just wont trim me , last time i had it done was about 8mths ago and i was abit sore, chicken bumps for about 2 days but after that i was fine but im gonna try and get done everytime i need to now just ive never had the time b4 ill trim abit the day b4 i go i hope it goes ok.
